Joshua O. Dorcey, Esq. founded the Dorcey Law Firm in 2007, and is the firm’s Managing Partner. He graduated from Samford University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communication Studies. Mr. Dorcey received his Juris Doctorate from Liberty University School of Law with a focus on Estate Planning and Transactional Services and received the award for the top transactional student in the school. He is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Alabama and has helped thousands of families establish and maintain their personal estate plan. Prior to opening the firm he worked at the premier real estate and business litigation firm in Fort Myers. Josh’s family homesteaded in southwest Florida in 1913 and he is the 4th generation of his family living in Lee County. Mr. Dorcey’s vision for the Dorcey Law Firm, PLC is for the firm to be transformational and process driven with a focus on going over and above the industry standard when taking care of our clients, their families and their businesses.

Michael A. Scott, Esq. is the firm’s Junior Partner. He attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where he received his degree in Business Management with a focus in Entrepreneurship. Before receiving his Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law, with a focus in Estate Planning & Asset Protection, Mr. Scott worked in the Construction industry. He is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and heads up our business law department where we serve as the registered agent of hundreds of small businesses in southwest Florida.

Erica D. Cohen, Esq. is the firm’s Lead Drafting & Research Attorney. She attended the University of Florida, where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology. Ms. Cohen received her Juris Doctorate from Barry University of Law in Orlando. In addition to being admitted to practice in the State of Florida, she has also been admitted to practice in Federal Court in the Middle District of Florida.

Brian H. Bronsther, Esq.‚Äč is the firm’s Lead Estate Administration Attorney. He has practiced law since 1984. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, he began his practice in Fort Lauderdale. He is licensed in both Florida and New York. Mr. Bronsther focuses his practice on Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Business Succession Planning, Bankruptcy and Real Estate. Brian is the Chair of the Estate and Trust Administration department and the lead Elder Law counsel for our firm.

Kara A. Sajdak, Esq. is the firm’s Lead Client Care Attorney. She attended the University of Central Florida where she received her degree in Legal Studies, with a specialization in Commercial and Transactional Law. Ms. Sajdak received her Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law with a focus in Estate Planning & Asset Protection, and is licensed to practice in the State of Florida.

Morris E. Osborn, Esq., LL.M, is Of Counsel with our firm. He received an LL.M in Real Property from the University of Miami, after graduating Cum Laude with his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. He was a law professor at Liberty University teaching a host of classes in the realm of real estate and real estate development. Prior to becoming a professor, Mr. Osborn worked at a major firm in Orlando handling complex real estate matters and eminent domain cases. He currently teaches Business Law at Johnson University, and is licensed to practice in the State of Florida.

K.C. Williams III, Esq. is Of Counsel with our firm. He handles all insurance and FEMA claims matters related to Disaster Protection and disaster relief. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in marketing and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida. Mr. Williams is admitted to practice before all state courts of the State of Florida, the Federal Court of the Middle District of Florida and the state of Tennessee.
