About
Erica D. Johnson, Esq. is one of the firm’s Partners, the Lead Drafting Attorney, and the Lead of our Equine Law Division. She attended the University of Florida, where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology. Ms. Johnson received her Juris Doctorate from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando. In addition to being admitted to practice in the State of Florida, she has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
While her passion for the law is evident in her work, her other passion is her love for horses. Erica has been an equestrian since the age of four and has competed nationally for almost as long. She trains multiple days throughout the week and continues to compete to this day.
Erica is also committed to giving back to her community and devotes her time to organizations whose missions are particularly meaningful to her. She serves on the boards of Special Equestrians and Haven of Hope International, contributing her time and experience in support of the important work these organizations do.
Outside of the office, the barn, and her community involvement, you can find Erica on the water, at her favorite craft brewery, or searching for the next spontaneous adventure.
